WINTER GRANT SEASON [15 DECEMBER – 15 JANUARY]

15.12.2024

A favourite meeting spot of Ivano-Frankivsk residents, the Urban Space 100 public restaurant is once again opening its doors to new ideas and initiatives. The call is open for the winter grant season! This is a great opportunity for NGOs and initiative groups in partnership with non-profits to implement their projects and make Ivano-Frankivsk an even better place.

Although applications from various directions can traditionally participate in the competition, the organisers will focus on projects tackling the wartime challenges. There are no budget restrictions, but the key condition is that the project must be Ivano-Frankivsk-based.

Only Ivano-Frankivsk-based organisations can submit a military support project to help brigades that are directly related to Ivano-Frankivsk. To create equal competition conditions for everyone, participants are to submit their initiatives through a grant application under the grant programme. Letters of request are not accepted.

“This year, Urban Space 100 and the grant competition are celebrating their 10th anniversary. And even after all this time, the programme is as relevant as ever. This is a testament to the trust and popularity of our competition. We’ve designed the simplest programme possible so that everyone can try their hand at it and, importantly, receive a grant to implement their idea for the first time, without any prior experience. This is still an important factor for project authors,” said Oksana Kobyletska, Coordinator of the Urban Space 100 Grant Programme.

Find out participation details and fill out an application at: https://urbanspace.if.ua/uk/get_grant.

As is our tradition, the winners will be determined by voting at the general meeting of the restaurant’s co-founders, which will be held on the 25th of January.

The idea of the Urban Space 100 public restaurant belongs to the Teple Misto Platform; the venue is managed by 23 Restaurants. The Urban Space 100 Grant Programme supports social projects aimed at the development of Ivano-Frankivsk. The grant fund is formed from 80% of the net profit of the Urban Space 100 public restaurant. Including the autumn season, we have supported 174 projects for a total amount of UAH 7,613,137 over the past 9 years.
