The project involves the installation of 8 vandalproof street chairs in three locations across the city: on the Chornovil, Franko and Hrushevskyi Streets. This is how the author of the idea, Iryna Cholii, seeks to create new public recreation spaces and add functionality, comfort and a unique character to the streets. According to her, the project is an example of tactical urbanism where “you can get tangible results with minimal costs”. In addition, the locations with chairs will be subject to landscaping, which will be implemented by the city’s Department of Infrastructure, Housing and Utility Policy.

The Urban Space 100 grant will be used for the procurement and delivery of the chairs.
