In April 2024, a sewing workshop was established at the UMG Humanitarian Centre to sew camouflage nets, robes and evacuation stretchers for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are transferred free of charge to the places where they are most needed. The goal of the workshop is to protect and save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and military equipment by producing modern and effective protective and evacuation equipment. Since its opening, the volunteers have produced and delivered 15,000 m2 of netting and 50 stretchers. 

Now it is crucial to equip the workshop with energy-saving lamps to improve the working conditions of the volunteers. There is also a constant demand for products.

The grant from Urban Space 100 will be used to purchase lighting equipment and materials to make 50 evacuation stretchers.

The project got partial funding from the requested amount.
