Urban Space Radio planned to update the music base for Christmas, and also collected stories all over Ukraine regarding the celebration of Christmas.

Goal

Uniting families and Ukrainians from different parts of the world, archiving Ukrainian authentic culture and traditions through a series of podcasts and updating Christmas music playlist.

Revisionist Syndrome: Soviet Ukrainian and Polish Ukrainian Avant-Garde by Kadan and Andrukhovych in Tandem

Realized

“Revisionist syndrome” is an exhibition and public program that invited viewers to pay attention to the history of the Western Ukrainian avant-garde movement. The project itself raised it in modern cultural discourse, as well as rethought the interrelationships of the Ukrainian avant-garde in Polish and Soviet territories during the interwar period.

Goal

To put a new perspective on the Ukrainian avant-garde, in particular, its Western-Ukrainian movement, through an exhibition curated by Nikita Kadan and a journalistic programme created by Yurii Andrukhovych. The central method of the project should be the fiction method, and the project itself will be based on the constructed story of the avant-garde exhibition in Stanislawow in 1931.

The Circle of Care is a month of grief awareness for healthcare workers

Realized

The main tasks within the project are to run an information campaign for doctors on the basics of support for families in grief and to provide healthcare institutions with information materials on supporting parents in grief and providing the necessary first assistance.

Goal

Improving the quality of support for parents who have experienced a perinatal loss at healthcare institutions, as well as snforming doctors about available support options.

Workshop: Art_learning

Identifying the hidden talents of everyone and turning them into relevant opportunities; promoting the spread of tolerance in society and the emergence of cultural diversity.

Technical equipment of the exhibition of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Museum of the liberation struggle in the “History of the UPA” hall

Realized

For modern and high-quality communication, the “History of the UPA” exhibition hall had to be equipped with multimedia equipment, which made it possible to include and use an unlimited amount of information that is completely different in content.

Goal

Create modern communication that will allow visitors to receive diverse information about museum items through a lively and interesting form of presentation.

Stanislav calls

Realized

Stanislav is the world`s first interactive digital guide in Telegram bot format that will guide you through Ivano-Frankivsk.

Goal

The goal of the “Stanislav calls” project is to turn a tourist`s visit to Frankivsk into a fun adventure, as well as to make him fall in love with the city and encourage him to return again. One of the ways to hear “wow” from city guests is to meet them physically at the train station with a package of personalized offers. Such meetings will be held every Saturday for 2 months.

STEM - Camp School

Realized

STEM stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This method of education in the world was created because the usual knowledge that we are used to receiving in educational institutions is not enough today. Rapid technological progress requires thorough, practical knowledge, skills and abilities, and as a result - competent specialists who are able to solve crucial problems.

Goal

Creation of a permanent School of the leader “STEM - Camp School” for the development of creative, science-mathematical, linguistic, leadership, management abilities, acquisition of social entrepreneurship skills and obtaining thorough knowledge among the city`s pupils even during the quarantine period.

“Alarm” Ivano-Frankivsk 2021

Realized

Alarm is the biggest and most desirable event in the world of graffiti in Ukraine. Every year, hundreds of artists travel to gather in different cities and spend a weekend together, share their experience, communicate, show their style and create hundreds of new drawings. The purpose of the event is to promote street art and graffiti, dialogue with the urban environment and rethinking of urban spaces.

Goal

The project aims to cut the best domestic graffiti samples; popularize street art; create an artistic and cultural product; legalize new and update existing graffiti locations. The festival is scheduled for August 19-21.

International Short Film Festival 4:3

Realized

Short Film Festival 4:3 is a pilot version of local festivals initiated by Oleksandr Hoisan in partnership with The Assortment room project space, the Frankivsk Film Commission and the CUC (“Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema”). The festival was held on September 23-26 in Ivano-Frankivsk and, in addition to screenings, included a series of public events — lectures, discussions and workshops from Ukrainian directors.

Goal

The project aims to promote current cinema in the city and unite local communities around this event.

III Frankivska Sotka “Franko 100”

Realized

III Frankivska Sotka “Franko 100” is an event in the format of a competition with a length of 100 km, which cyclists need to overcome in 8 hours.

Goal

Continue to positively represent Ivano-Frankivsk in the all-Ukrainian cycling race. The cycling marathon is included in the rating of UAM “Ukrainian amateur movement”, which is the most prestigious rating among amateur cyclists.

Realized

Stanislavv is a digital guide of Ivano-Frankivsk in the format of a Telegram bot that will make a comfortable, fun and informative tourist`s visit to the city.

Goal

Providing high-quality mediation between the city and the tourist using modern technologies and SMM methods, which will allow to identify Ivano-Frankivsk on the map of Ukrainian tourist places.

Restoration of doors to the main building of the Medical University (2, Halytska Str.)

Realized

Based on old photos, authentic doors were restored in a historical building, an architectural monument - the main building of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.

Goal

Preservation of the historical heritage of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, through the example of the restoration of the door at Halytska Street, 2.

Modernization of the Local History Museum

Within the framework of the project, the concept of the nature department modernization and visualization was developed – a new scenario of the exhibition using existing exhibits in a modern interactive educational presentation, as a result, the design and filling of the museum space in the Town Hall.

Goal

Due to the development of the concept of the nature department modernization in the museum, take the first step in creating a modern interesting interactive exhibition that would give new knowledge and experience about the nature of the Ivano-Frankivsk region to compatriots and tourists, popularize the city and region, become a magnet for cultural and educational life in the Town Hall.

A series of exhibitions “No longer / Not yet” about people's lives during the pandemic and isolation

Realized

A series of 3 exhibitions was organized by artists from Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Kyiv about contemporary visual art during the pandemic.

Goal

To work out the topic of the impact of the pandemic on people`s lives by means of artistic visual language through exhibition projects. Facilitate the culturally rich life of citizens and guests of Ivano-Frankivsk by implementing projects on a globally relevant topic.

(Re)naissance

Realized

Personal multimedia exhibition of contemporary art by the author of the project - Zoryana Kozak. She reveals a different, vivid carnival of forms in four manifestations: on canvas, in ceramics, in photo and video, by means of expressionistic, emotional perception of the world.

Goal

To draw the attention of the art community and interested visitors to the problem of the scarcity of the conceptualism, as one of the most widely represented, and, at the same time, the least fruitful and little accepted by the audience directions in contemporary art.

Park under your feet

Realized

As part of the project, a 5 km long run was organized. For each participant who covered the distance, a tree was planted and given a name (at the request of the participant).

Goal

Encourage people to do sports and show that taking care of the environment is not difficult. As well as of your own health.
