How Ivano-Frankivsk dreamed, but (so far) has not become the cycling capital of Ukraine

On 18 May, Urban Space 100 hosted the discussion on the Cycling Infrastructure of Ivano-Frankivsk issue with the participation of Kateryna Lozovenko — Operations Director and Transport Data Analyst at Oresund LLC, Sustainable Mobility Expert at Vision Zero NGO, Myroslav Fedorkiv — Head of the Department of Infrastructure Policy of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, and Yurii Symchych, Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Cyclists’ Association.
The discussion was moderated by Volodymyr Radevych.

They talked about whether Ivano-Frankivsk could become the cycling capital of Ukraine. About the once active development of the city’s bicycle infrastructure and the current break.
About the increase in road traffic and how a developed cycling infrastructure can help address this challenge.
